Short Bio
Dr Moloko Mathipa-Mdakane is an Information Scientist at the CSIR and a Policy Fellow at the NRF. Her work spans research support, innovation, science policy, knowledge management, and evidence-informed decision-making. She focuses on strengthening links between research, policy, and societal impact by supporting collaboration among researchers, funders, institutions, and policymakers. She has contributed to international and regional initiatives in sustainability science, research partnerships, and capacity strengthening, including through the Future Earth Africa Hub. Her current interests include evidence-informed decision-making, science-policy engagement, innovation systems, and the use of artificial intelligence and analytical tools to support complex decisions.
